Karen Brazeau

In 2004, after being diagnosed with a repetitive strain injury, she left the automotive sector and attended College where she obtained a certificate in Paralegal studies. In 2009 she wrote the Paralegal Licensing exam with the Law Society of Ontario and became licensed to practice as a Paralegal in Ontario.She worked as a self employed Paralegal for one year and then decided to join one of the largest Paralegal firms in Ontario and worked for two years as an Associate Paralegal handling Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB), Statutory Accident Benefit Claims (SABS), Small Claims Court and Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario claims. With her own experience and her Paralegal background, she saw first hand how an injury can deeply affect the life of an injured person and she felt she wanted to do more.Karen began working at the Wortley Wellness Centre where she assist the owner Ursula with managing the centre, acts as payroll clerk and MVA intake manager and at times stands in as one of our receptionists. She is also a Reiki Master and is a Raindrop Therapy Practitioner and offers these alternative energy treatments here at the centre.In her spare time she is a student of Kabbalah and Shamanic practices and enjoys dabbling in the visual arts and with essential oils.
